ApplauseLab was founded by a team of engineers and entrepreneurs who saw how transformative well-crafted software could be—and how often businesses were underserved by generic solutions. Drawing from years of experience at companies like Progress Software, VMware, bet365, Bosch, and the US State Department, we built ApplauseLab to bridge the gap between enterprise-grade engineering and startup agility.
Today, we partner with founders, CTOs, and innovation leaders to build products that matter—from AI wellness companions like xHeal to government-scale visitor management systems. Trifon Getsov
Trifon is the CEO and co-founder of ApplauseLab. A serial entrepreneur and solutions architect with over 12 years of experience driving innovation across AI, biotech, and enterprise platforms. He previously led solutions architecture teams at Inetum serving the EMEA region, developed open-source Build Tools at VMware, and architected custom data processing frameworks for major European telecoms.
At ApplauseLab, Trifon leads R&D and idea acceleration, helping founders turn B2C ideas into MVPs and secure funding. His motto: Execution is everything.

Kristiyan Nikolov
Kris is the CTO and co-founder of ApplauseLab. An exceptional systems engineer and cloud architect with deep expertise in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and large-scale platform automation. During his time at Progress Software, he led large-scale Kubernetes migrations and designed SOA architectures processing millions of requests daily.
He co-founded xHeal.ai—revolutionizing preventive healthcare in the US—and organizes BalchikCon, helping young minds discover their path in IT. At ApplauseLab, Kris leads technical strategy and ensures every project meets the highest standards of engineering excellence.

Kalin Stoev
Kalin is the Head of Engineering and co-founder of ApplauseLab. He specializes in building scalable intelligent systems that turn data into meaningful, actionable experiences. His background includes engineering zero-downtime migrations at bet365 (serving 45M+ users), developing production HMI software for Hyundai automotive assembly lines, and designing globally-deployed systems for the US State Department serving 270+ embassies worldwide.
At ApplauseLab, Kalin leads architecture and development of AI-powered platforms including xHeal and MindNest, bringing deep expertise in React Native, full-stack engineering, and enterprise integrations for Fortune 500 clients.

Nikolay Kolibarov
Nikolay is the Head of AI and co-founder of ApplauseLab. A software engineer with deep expertise in distributed systems, automation, and applied machine learning. He previously built distributed lead recommendation systems at Finonex processing millions of leads in real-time, developed automation platforms at Fieldin, and created distributed model evaluation pipelines for AI systems at Bosch Bulgaria.
A published researcher with work on Deep Learning-based Roof Segmentation for Digital Twin City Generation, Nikolay brings hands-on experience building scalable, cloud-native AI solutions. At ApplauseLab, he leads AI architecture and ML pipeline development.
